I have a theory that all rational ratings can fluctuate by three points. So for instance most people say MMLP2 is roughly a 5 or 6 and you're saying it's an 8. Generally if it'smore than 2 point lower than avg that means you're hating too much and vice versa. Think you might be giving MMLP2 just a bit TOO much love. It's honestly roughly a 5.5 maybe a 6 too me it's a 4 tbh

Most critics don't know how to properly review. They think a 7 is average and 10 just means really good. Tbh 1 in 10 forum posters is better at reviews than critics

@Koolo was right, they literally bring Eminem in the conversation every single f---ing time, like the thread was about the greatest reign in Hip Hop and now they are discussing about MMLP2, Marshall is really the goat lmao

No God dammit I'm f---ing tired of people saying this

It's not that we're obsessed. Someone said Em gets too much hate and then I rebutted that. Then we got onto the topic of whether hate is unfounded or not and used MMLP2 as an example. I don't mean this directly at you but for f--- sakes actually read the conversations before going "oh hey someone's talking about my hubby lmao another reason why I should s--- his d-ck"

This is who I think has reigned in hip hop since Eminem in 99
    99-02 Eminem
    03-05 50 Cent
    05-06 Game
    07-09 Wayne
    10 Eminem
    11 Drake
    12 Kendrick
    13 Drake
    14 Drake
15 I think will be Kendrick

This 100%. A 7 album for me is the top end of good. 5 is average.

Anyway, Lil Wayne's reign between 04 and 11 was impeccable.

Drake has been atop the hottest rappers since 2009. Never been out of the discussion.

I agree with this, except I would argue that he probably owned 2010 with all the buzz from GOOD Fridays leading up to MBDTF's release.

That's a very conjective opinion and ultimately there is no true "answer" to this question.
Personally, I don't enjoy Lil Wayne or Drakes music and neither does anyone I know. Therefore would I say they "run or ran hip-hop"? Not a hope in h---.
But I do enjoy Jay and Kanyes music a lot and so do a lot of people I know, so would I say they "run or ran hip-hop"? Much more likely.

My point? Opinion counts for everything. The only way anyone will actually prove there is an answer to this question is to use sales data.

I wouldn't even say it's age/musical preference, it's just being aware of the genre of music you enjoy and recognizing how the landscape has been handled throughout its history.
It's like if I claimed to like Pop but refused to acknowledge that Michael Jackson was King. Or that Elvis was the Rock and Roll King.

Wayne did infact run the game for a period of time. That is not an opinion. So you can take your conjuncture and shove it up your a---.
