    Sounds straight from 2004/2005 (the voice) . I love this song. And it is intelligently written.
    And, btw, I have to admit She Loves Me sounds incredible. The lyrics are nothing new but it is a good piece of music. At first I was put off, as I thought he was screaming on this song but he doesn't scream at all! It is the rest of the album that is so tamed (and that's a good thing) that She Loves Me somehow seems to be one of the most aggressive tracks.

    Obviously but...
    Some people believe Farewell is not simply a love song. Please, let someone convince me, as the song is so dope I want to believe it is something more.

    I've been a Rihanna fan from the start of her career, and I never thought they would work together, so I have to go with LTWYL (and part 2). I used to listen to it a lot when it dropped. Still do, just not as much.

    Number two would be Spacebound, and number three River.

    Sounds like it belongs on a Pink album, not Em's. But I was way more disappointed with that Alicia collab :emoji_slight_frown:

    Dude even spent time in the studio with Alicia for that. We rarely see him in the Studio with artists these days, and dude made that.

    Lol it was only a matter of time before a thread like this.

    Probably So Much Better/She Loves Me, though tbh I barely listen to any of these songs. LTWYL sometimes, but just to laugh at how wildly different it is from say Relapse, or his OG s---.

    Stronger Than I Was is probably the worst of these; I never managed to listen to the full song without skipping parts.

    I replayed the s--- out of STIW when the album dropped idk why, I guess I like his voice on it. It's mad corny though.

    There not Generic love songs overall, they're just generic love songs due to how much em keeps doing them the exact same way.

    This verse is great imo.

    Would fit an escape/action scene with a male and female from a movie perfectly.

    I'm sooo sick of the love songs.

    It's fine if it's authentic, or even just a song he comes up with because it genuinely jumps out to him. But it feels like he just makes these for their sake... like 'oh need this song for these people, this type of track, this one' etc.

    It's so formulaic the way he makes albums. For a long time.

    I wish he'd view albums as art rather than product. I know they are product but doesn't mean you have to follow a formula. It's still art - first.
