Mar 1, 2021 Yeah, very disappointing especially cause of the locale for me. They took the great potential of Boston and made a s-----y game. But I still got some mild enjoyment from it more than say, any far cry games. Nothing will ever compare to New Vegas tho, shoutout @skip
Mar 1, 2021 Maybe not way better than 4 cuz they're both not great lol but I remember 4 just feeling like a worse version of 3. Been awhile since I've played it though. I really just give 5 more points for having a unique setting.
Mar 1, 2021 Their engine is perfect for a 007 game! Can't wait to see what they do. I could see how someone going from 3-4 would be disappointed. 4 was the first FC game I did a full playthrough of so I tend to be a bit biased but yeah 3 is definitely better.
Mar 1, 2021 @Sign Language @Chrollo Will def peep Dying Light—I'm down for any and all post-apocalyptic stuff. I promised myself I'm gonna finish a chunk of the games I already own before buying anything new though lol cuz I definitely went HAM on PSN/amazon sales during quar lol.
Mar 1, 2021 a decent open world RPG with a s-----y story (only saved by DLC), decent potential and fun gameplay. I'm lower on it than most because I grew up playing the isometric Fallout and Fallout 2 which are some of the greatest games of all time.
Mar 1, 2021 ahhhh that definitely makes sense then. As yall probably know I love roadtrips so I also love games that try to recreate areas of the USA so that's why I found Far Cry 5's setting so cool cuz you don't really see Montana represented in games.
Mar 1, 2021 Same, these sales are dangerous. But the Mega Deluxe Ultimate Edition for 20 bucks instead if 90? Now that's an offer I can't resist.
Mar 1, 2021 I tend do agree. I will say the urban combat feeling of 3 was cool. Along with the greatest companion in Fallout history:
Mar 1, 2021 Have you played The Division or Division 2? Decent 3rd person shooter, pretty repetitive and s--- but - NYC and DC in those games are f---ing amazing. Recreated and morphed into the lore of the world so well, it's honestly worth playing either just for that.
Mar 1, 2021 ps4 + switch I loved Fallout 3 but it was my first Fallout game (and first RPG of that complexity). Only got to play a bit of New Vegas so I def want a chance to play that some day.
Mar 1, 2021 Oh s--- I just checked my friends list and I have you added. How did I forget, smh. Anyway, if you ever wanna do a co op playthrough of FC4 or Dying Light I'd be down.
Mar 1, 2021 if you loved 3, New Vegas will blow your mind. It's like a Batman Begins vs The Dark Knight jump in quality. It's one of the best designed games OAT. Every choice you make is persistent and affects how the entire world interacts with you. You have much more choice than the false choice system you get in 3. and the gameplay is much more balanced and rewarding.
Mar 1, 2021 Yeah I have a bunch of people from here on both systems but idk who half of them are when they don't match their sxn80 name lol
Mar 1, 2021 Spawn on the PS1. I remember saving up all my allowance money at the time and even skipping a school party to save up even more money just to buy that game. Copped brand new, it was trash from the first second.
Mar 1, 2021 The one game that I bought when it came out and regretted was Day Z. That game was bug ridden and unplayable and stayed in early access for 5 years. That was the first and last time I bought an early access game. Other than that I can't really think of any game I really regretted buying. I usually do throrough research before buying a full priced game. Every once in a while comes a game that I will purchase before launch but those are very rare and are from respected developpers.
