    Too comfortable best toxic song since my collection and definitely my fav song on this album

    If music's good it's okay to release 20+ songs albums. If Detox ever dropped this s--- better have 35+ songs on it

    First listen: don’t think it reaches the heights of The Wizrd, still a good album. Feels more like old mixtape future. Future’s always been great at picking production, dunno if he’s ever rapped over a bad beat.

    Disagree, the production goes in a much different direction from the wizrd.

    Accepting My Flaws is clearly the last song tho, he tacked the previously released singles all in the end as bonus for steaming numbers.

    Idk man, personally? I feel like he sounds more driven on this record. His voice sounds more dimensional. His rapping is more focused. His rapping on touch the sky for example is such a breath of fresh air for him. He really switches up a lot on here. I’ll continue my thoughts as I keep listening. I been listening to WZRD on repeat, blunt after blunt with a autograph on the vinyl cover. He sounds like he’s having a lot more fun on here so far

    WIZRD has some crazy highs, but I felt like it flowed more like a compilation of that era for future.

    this feels like a tape with meaningful sequencing, and the pen game has some dips, but there’s much more notable fun lines imo. The production is more like 2017 future with an updated twist. I feel like this was a very wise decision to go.

    there’s aspects that make me enjoy this more than WIZRD. From metro’s return to future albums, to young boys/young thug/Uzi, flawless chemistries on all their songs with fewtch. There’s a lot of things that work much better in here.

    Though on WIZRD, the back and forth with gunna and young thug is just so good lol. And also I could cut mad songs off that b----

    I'd only cut a few songs off WZRD and I felt like that album was meaningfully sequenced as well. It was a culmination of an era—Monster-DS2 was him reckoning with a breakup/past mistakes. FUTURE and HNDRXX was him battling the two side of himself, and putting those two sides together are what make him THE WIZRD. I could make some corny comparison to the five stages of grief but I'll spare you lol.

    He's definitely having more fun on here, and for once in my life I don't need more Future despair at the moment lol. There's a lot to like on High Off Life, I just need to give it some more spins.

    I mean you don’t gotta spare me s---, I love this s--- lol. Please explain away! You legit have great posts. but yeah Future legit my top 3 in the last ten years lol.

    i just like this as a whole project that I wouldn’t modify whereas wizrd I would remove some of the more sluggish songs (tricks on me, goin dummy I could love without, ain’t coming back maybe). But man that n----- on servin killa kam.

    I must say again, future and Uzi’s chemistry is crazy on this too

    oh man I love Tricks on Me. Going Dummi is a personal fav but it could def be cut. My choices would be rocket ship and the travis scott joint.

    OK here's the corny s--- lol:

    Honest - Denial (I have no doubt he recorded the loving bits about Ciara in earnest, but this album only came out a few months before they split and there's no way they weren't already having issues at that point, esp because he claims they were growing apart long before that cheating or no cheating)
    Monster - Anger
    DS2 - Depression
    FUTURE/HNDRXX - Bargaining (technically depression comes after bargaining but ofc this isn't a clearcut process and they often overlap)
    THE WIZRD - Acceptance

    But I mean, I think a lot of Future albums you could say are characterized by the five stages of grief (his music is very grief-stricken so its unsurprising). "My Collection" is Denial and "Sorry" is Acceptance. "Radical" & "Monster are Denial and "Codeine Crazy" is Acceptance.

    they're 2/2 in a row for worst song on future's album imo. High Fashion and 3500 are good though.
