Going into iraq was the root cause of this. yes but, in from 2003 to 2011 iraq was a nation building process, meaning that america was basically there to hold its hand while it help elections and fight of the remaining parts of saddams army. we all know that so tthis is what im tryying to say: if the united states waits until iraq is fully capable to defend its self the middle east would be in a much better position than it is today. A free iraq with a strong military would've solved a lot of problems that we have today. obvs none of this would happen if we didnt invade in 2003 but saddam would still be in power.

Nov 18, 2015 I know people, young and old adults, who have lived in or know family that has lived in Iraq. If you asked them if they wanted Sadaam assassinated, they would tell you no.

Nov 18, 2015 Right but it's mainly the US fault of the coniditon the region is in. They overthrew their leader. Yes they tried to build them back up these past few years, but they left prematurely, leaving them in the same exact position as they were before. You're mis/uniformed on this topic.
