May 10, 2015 The only "hate" that I've seen is some ligh-hearted jabs because you guys call football "soccer" and it looks like only 'murican football matters, and this only happens in threads like this or irl meetings. Other than that, I think that both sides don't care about the other that much, and just don't watch sports that they don't understand or aren't part of their culture. The big time difference also doesn't help, not many people will wake up at 3-5am to watch and learn about american football, and playing american football isn't even a choice, so people just don't care. There are too many sports that you can follow/play easier. You're right that it's basically a question of where you're from, for most people. But yeah, vintage euros go out of their way to hate the amerikanski
May 10, 2015 If America's best athletes played soccer instead of the major sports here we would dominate
May 10, 2015 +1 or +2 for central EU and eastern, it's earlier than I guessed (based on nba games). It overlaps with all the football leagues in europe though (on sunday), and playing american football isn't even a choice, so people just don't care. There are too many sports that you can follow/play easier, like I said earlier.
May 10, 2015 American Football is perhaps a tad more tactical; Football/Soccer more b--- for your buck/exciting
May 10, 2015 if america gave a s--- about soccer we'd be the best at it as well, just like we dominate in basketball
