Idk what it is about Eminem albums that make me overrated them on my first listen...maybe it's nostalgia of having a new album to begin with but Encore is the only album of his I hated the first time I listen and have learned to like more over the years. The rest I love way to much the first time I listened.

I hated it at first. Then it grew on me and I love it now. I think a lot of people would think the same if it wasn't called MMLP2

It was solid, could have switched out a few bonus tracks to make it great though. Shouldn't have been called MMLP2, it's not worthy of the title and people would be less critical.

I really liked it but of all his solo albums I think it's got the worst replay value. It certainly has probably aged the worst.

I thought the title was perfect for the album. It was just a revisitation. MMLP2 was essentially an LP of a 42 yr old Marshall Mathers looking back on his career and moving forward at the same time. People expected a sequel that would be just like the 1st MMLP but it wasn't, which is why there was so much criticism for it. The vibe of MMLP and other albums he did in the past were all meshed together, which kinda explains why it isn't cohesive to some people. It wasn't what people expected but for what it is, MMLP2 is a solid album

d---, i remember i had to leave for work in like 30 mins and just started the download, and was hoping to get it on itunes asap, and sync. Once i did i was out the door, pumped, started it, was like alright so far so good, and the end of Bad Guy started, my heart just went racing, and i was hyped for most of the album, skipping Survival and Berzerk because i overplayed them. Then the end of the album seemed to be slowing down for me in terms of excitement, i didnt have a reaction to Love Game at first. and when Evil Twin started, i was hyped again. Reaction of excitement like that for me is rare. Would love one more eminem classic like TES before he retires.

I remember every n----- here said it's top 3/4, Koolo made a headlights appriciation thread and i waited till trshady gave a public download lool.

I loved it at first now the album sounds old af in terms of production and s--- but Bezerks hook is goat still oh and I skipped survival and love game cos I thought love game was trash

could have been way better if survival and so far were replaced with Wicked ways, Groundhog Day, or Desperation. More solid songs on the bonus cuts imo.
