Jun 24, 2015 I feel the same way. I always thought the story and everything except the draw system was better in 8. If 8 had materia it might be the perfect FF game. I think the reason a remake for 7 was highly desired was due to the tech demo that was showed at E3 05.
Jun 24, 2015 I honestly think FF8 was awful. Can't tell you why, I just personally didn't enjoy it. My scores are: FF7 10/10 FF8 6/10 FF9 8/10 FF10 9/10 FF10-2 5/10 FF12 9/10 FF13 3/10 FF13-2 7/10 The rest I won't score as I hasn't played then to completion.
Jun 24, 2015 Of course not. I think it's quite clear it will be on all consoles. Budget to get this game right will have to be high so need to recoup massively. Sony would've paid through the nose for this early exclusivity but good for them. Final Fantasy was always PlayStation. Edit: I mean Final Fantasy was projected into the mainstream hearts by PlayStation.

Jun 25, 2015 heaps keen for this. Used to play FF7 as a kid on ps1 heaps and never ended up beating it cause i lost one of the (4) disks Tried to get back into it when the PSN download came out on ps3 but couldn't get past the s-----y graphics, was good for nostalgia though. This game should be f---ing awesome.
Jun 25, 2015 i don't agree, but I still absolutely love VIII both of these along with IX, the remake for III and Crystal Chronicles are my favorites
