Oct 15, 2016 i would consider the following excellent bad guy brainless good legacy rap god groundhog beautiful pain evil twin rest is ok
Oct 15, 2016 Pretty much. Only real bad songs imo are survival and stronger than I was. Most of it is just very forgettable
Oct 15, 2016 Evil Twin, Don't Front, Wicked Way, Baby, & Rap God are for me better.. still classic song and 10/10
Oct 15, 2016 Genius: "This five minute burst of horror rap finds the Detroit MC revisiting the haunting memories of being bullied in school. He then shoots to the present, where he boasts about how a single white MC has had so much influence on the Hip-Hop/Rap industry. "
Oct 15, 2016 2nd verse of So Far... is good. I like when he gets to ranting about all those trivial things (not being sarcastic here). I like the whole song, but 2nd verse especially.
Oct 15, 2016 You guys sleeping on it. I'm the first guy hated Berzerk and Rap God, I swear I was disgusted of 2013 Em, but when I listened to the album for what it is, it has so much gems, it's just not the witty shady (which Eminem wasn't witty to begin with, drugs made him that social shady funny person) forgettable? absolutely.. but at least I can see Eminem being perfectionist showing on here. plus it resonates with me If you read Survival lyrics, literally there is at least 1-2 wordplays/puns in each line.. Even Berzerk (which gets flack a lot) is goat. (the only thing, it's not something you'd expect from Em, he really went to the extreme in experimentation)
Oct 15, 2016 True, the level of packed metaphors and wordplays is insane. a------, for example, is very underrated and it's full of examples of those wordplays/metaphors
Oct 15, 2016 Seriously, what Eminem says in a pass-by manner would be considered a magnum opus of someone else. If another rapper said "Feelings scar but egos bruise worse and truth hurts, no wonder you're sore losers", they'd be praised as GOAT. Eminem just says it like hello.
