Jan 5, 2016 Honestly, the album is a strong 7/10 Good tracks: Evil Deeds, Never Enough, Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, Puke, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird, Crazy In Love, 1 Shot 2 Shots, Encore, We As Americans, Love You More Only bad tracks are: My 1st Single, Big Weenie, a--- Like That Just Lose It & Rainman are decent I think. Production is some of his best, his flow is on point and overall it's a nice combo of serious & classic shady. Definitely better than Recovery I'd say. Better production, flow, has great skits, no cheesy punchlines and it has some classic tracks (See: Mockingbird, We As Americans, Like Toy Soldiers, Yellow Brick Road) Also has a fantastic album cover.
Jan 5, 2016 Now I respect your opinion and others who agree with you but I have to disagree. However I do agree with you on the production beimg good and its mostly why some of te songs are listenable. His flow is good, but it sound like he's drugged up,(which he was) and bored. And the "good" songs are debatable. The ryhme, and ryhme schemes for the most part are extremely simple. Personally the only, songs I really like, are like toy solider, Encore, and yellow brick road

Jan 5, 2016 I like it a lot better than Recovery, but this could be based on nostalgia. I had good times during Encore and horrible ones during Recovery. I am mixed on Encore. There are those few weird songs I dislike like Big Weenie, RainMan, a--- Like That etc.
Jan 5, 2016 Even though My 1st Single is more unlistenable and worse than any song on both albums, I'd say Encore is definitely better in overall. Songs like Evil Deeds, Like Toy Soldiers, Mockingbird, Crazy In Love, Love You More, We As Americans are untouchable compared to anything on Recovery. Recovery is hard to listenin' from front to back. Encore is pretty easy if you can survive My 1st Single. It's so close tho. Encore 73/100 Recovery 71/100 EDIT #2: Btw of course production makes huge difference. Encore has a flawless one while Recovery is the worst produced Eminem album ever even worse than Infinite.

Jan 6, 2016 There are some s-----y songs but even the s-----y songs have dope beats. I don't hate the album at all. People pick apart em's s--- far too much. Its just music.
Jan 6, 2016 I think theyre on the same par. One is basically a drugged out 30 year old man goofing off for half the record, the other is grandfather save-a-hoe rap over watered down pop-rap beats for half the record. I think MMLP2 s----s on both of them
