Sep 28, 2021 Eminem's restaurant, called Mom's Spaghetti, will open a permanent brick-and-mortar location on Woodward across from Comerica Park. The spot is within the recently opened Union Assembly restaurant on the ground floor of Little Caesars world headquarters. Mom's Spaghetti's grand opening is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release at eminem.com. The location is 2131 Woodward Ave.. Part of the project is a retail store called The Trailer above the pasta operation. The project is a partnership with Union Joints Restaurant Group, co-owned by Curt Catallo, his wife, Ann Stevenson, and managing partner Erich Lines. Union Joints also owns longstanding suburban restaurant hotspots Clarkston Union, Union Woodshop, Vinsetta Garage and more. The restaurant will be a walk-up window and The Trailer is the upstairs retail store within Union Assembly. Mom's Spaghetti's concept is centered on the Detroit rapper's lyrics from "Lose Yourself." The restaurant menu is simple with just three items. There's a plate of Mom's Spaghetti for $9 or $12 if you add meatballs. The Sghetti Sandwich is $11. Beverages are $4. Mom's Spaghetti first launched as a pasta pop-up in 2017 at The Shelter in Detroit. It was part of Eminem's release of "Revival." Union Joints also worked on that Mom's Spaghetti project, according to the news release. https://www.freep.com/story/enterta...moms-spaghetti-restaurant-detroit/5897195001/
Sep 29, 2021 no way someone opens a restrauint with 3 items on the menu lol deff a album rollout a weird one at that
Sep 29, 2021 With the lorry driver shortages across the UK, a concept like this would never work. Single/main ingredient restaurants are screwed if their item cannot be delivered (see Nandos and KFC as examples). At least by having a somewhat diverse menu, you're covered if some items can't be delivered. Yes, it's embarrassing having multiple dishes not available but at least doors can still be opened and you won't be "front page news".
Sep 30, 2021 Okay guys hear me out. Eminem is prepping for his new album and a dramatic stylistic change up. At Mom's Spaghetti, Eminem eats and then regurgitates every order before it is fed to the customers, to keep faithful to the original vomit lyric. This will inevitably tear up his vocal chords to give his voice a more strained and gruff sound. Logically speaking his next album is going to be his darkest and heaviest yet. I think Mom's Spaghetti is just the tip of the iceberg.
Sep 30, 2021 It's located literally right next to The Fillmore, which is also within a couple blocks of Comerica Park, Ford Field, and Little Caesars Arena. Em ain't tryna "make a ton of money" with this in my opinion. In fact, I boldly predict he'll donate majority of profit to Detroit charities trying to better the city. When Revival dropped (mid-December '17) was when he originally had a Mom's Spaghetti Pop-Up for 3 days at "The Shelter" (the basement of St. Andrew's Hall). There was a huge snowstorm that day; he showed up the first day. The second day I was first in line, waited for him for 4 hours in the blistering cold. Never showed. Got myself a sghetti sandwich tho, it was fire cheahchehahcheahcheahcheah. Anyway cheahcheahcehahcheahhcehahcheahcheah word to Jim Brady
