Elizondo hasn’t worked with Dre for years. Jeff Bass hasn’t worked with Eminem for 20 years. They don’t record on analogue tape anymore. Eminem has nothing to write about anymore. DJ Head hasn’t made a drum beat for Eminem for 25 years. Nobody cares about Eminem enough to protest against his music. Eminem is too scared to even use the word fa---- anymore. To really “capture the sound of MMLP” all these things and more would need to come in to play. It’s impossible.

Feb 6, 2026 It’s crazy that Side A was so close to a modern Em classic and got so much hate when it came out. I think that albums aged really well, if it had some fat cut off it’d be a perfect modern Em album. You Gon Learn and No Regrets are genuinely super nice production wise, and easily the best modern em tracks that aren’t recycling old scrapped stuff like Discombobulated. I also like TDOSS but I think that the Gen Z stuff and using the same tranny joke over and over again then the random switch to being a bunch of MTBMB extra tracks in the second half made it a giant mess. Hope if we get another album it’s just all fresh material with more time focused on nice sounding production, and maybe getting some features w modern rappers before he taps out from rapping entirely, Denzel, Kendrick, Cole, etc.
