Aug 28, 2025 Yeah. Every era and comeback Em had at least one major smash hit. With the exception being 2017 with revival. Even Kamikaze had a huge hit song with venom. MTBMB with Godzilla. Ect. I always thought it was bad move to make walk on water and river the lead singles of revival, but I guess there was really no other choice since the whole album was a---. And Ed Sheeran was at his peak then. Still wild they didn’t just get an upbeat song and throw Beyoncé and Ed on it.

Aug 28, 2025 I agree that he shouldn’t try to make the same music he did 25 years ago. I appreciate that he has evolved, I think that’s what most good artists do. All I’m saying is that he doesn’t have to try so hard all the time. Trying hard at something doesn’t always mean the end result will be good. I’m sure he tried very hard when making Revival. Like I said though, he’s learning not to try as hard with DoSS. It seems with that album he was more relaxed and let his creativity flow more rather than anxiously forcing this “I’m the best rapper ever” persona which is why I still think it’s his best album in years. I still rate it an 8/10, I love it. If he keeps up the creative process he had with DoSS while continuing to evolve, we could be in for some very great albums in the future.

Aug 28, 2025 After 50’s feature on Crack A Bottle, it took over fourteen years for a Shady artist to be on a solo Em album (not counting the bonus track for Recovery) Which means that Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, Boogie, and GRIP didn’t make it….but Ez Mil did?
