Rosenberg: (laughs) Marshall is a creative being. He’s constantly in the studio; his 9 to 5 has become going to the studio in the morning, is typically home for dinner, Monday through Friday. He’s creating whether he’s writing or making beats or messing around with stuff. He’s always making something. You can expect that to continue, and when he gets to a place where he feels like he’s got a body of work he’ll release an album. He’s working on stuff and there will be more music; I can’t say when because I’m not sure, but it’s coming.

The only thing missing from DoSS imo was more notable rap features. Feel he missed an opportunity to have people he's been close to his entire career ft on the album - 50, Snoop, Dre etc. JID was dope though

Giving the fans a little bit of everything is one of the reasons his recent albums usually end up mediocre. By trying to please everyone, you please no one. He finally stuck to a concept with DoSS and it worked out well for him until he gave up on the concept way too early in the album. Tacking on those random songs at the end in an effort to still give people a little bit of everything was the biggest downfall of DoSS

The song really emphasizes to me that he tries way too hard these days, although he’s learning to relax a bit with DoSS. Everybody’s Looking At Me makes his rapping sound effortless while still being good whereas a lot of his modern music sounds like he’s constantly trying to prove to you that he’s the best rapper of all time. The problem is not everybody looks at the best rapper of all time as someone who can cram the most syllables and rhymes into a line. And a lot of Eminem’s pop audience simply doesn’t give a s--- about who the best rapper is, they just want music that sounds good.

R&B singer Truth Hurts, Dr. Dre’s latest protégé, said she recorded vocals for The Eminem Show several months ago in Detroit.

“It came out hot,” she said. “I think it is kind of a spinoff of Rockwell’s ’Somebody’s Watching Me,’ ’cause I remember singing those melodies. We did that a while ago, before he started getting into the record full-force, so I don’t know what songs he’s going to use. Hopefully that’s one of them.”
