Feb 19, 2018 Mmlp2 is the worst album. No reason for me to go back and listen to it in full. Only maybe 3 5 songs I’ll listen to. What do u like from it ?
Feb 19, 2018 This to be honest they both dont have enough replay value to keep them in rotation but the songs on mmlp2 sound alot better mixed n less forced i mean bad guy vs walk on water / belive evil twin vs like home baby vs chloraseptic groundhog day vs need me ft pink beautiful pain vs river brainless vs bad husband so far ( yes i f---s with it people cmon) mmlp2 just s--- all over revival best songs on revival saving an argument here framed castle and maybe bad husband

Maybe it’s you... you keep on adding more nuances each time but it’s still the same album. Hopefully one day you’ll find some redeeming qualities in the album and not only that, you may change your mind about it not being cohesive.
Feb 22, 2018 There are redeeming songs... But none as an album. Even Encore... It was half s--- half go9d but there was still a vibe and a theme which was especially strong in the good s--- but even the dumb s--- sounded like it was made in the same time period. Revival has absolutelty no identity. It's a mixtape. It's so random and all over the place. The good songs are good. But not good in the way good Em songs usually are. I listened to most of mmlp2 repeatedly for like a year and beyond that, I still enjoy the f--- out of most of the tracks. Theres nothing which is really... grabbing on Revival. Sure some good songs but theyre not addictive or like I want to keep listening to them. The whole thing just feels flat.
Mar 17, 2018 They are. But I rarely listen to them. I'm saying that even the top notch tracks from the album are not the same type of top notch as other Eminem era top notch tracks. They don't make me want to relisten to them, they're missing something.

Mar 23, 2018 still I agree with you. The MMLP2 proved Em had no inspiration after the relapse/recovery cycle. But it gave him a momentum to compensate for that lack of inspiration. Even if the album has some fillers like "Stronger Than I Was", we can hear Em is in place he knows well on that CD. When I listen to Evil Twin, Rap God, Rhyme Or Reason, Brainless, even Berzerk, you can feel confidence because obviously there is much work involved on that album. And I enjoy these songs so much more than these copy / paste samples we hear on Revival. On the contrary, Revival seems really dull compared to MMLP2, Recovery and even Relapse. I think they HAD TO drop an album by the end of 2017 (we don't know what's written in the contract...), so they just did a rush job.
