maybe early to call someone influential (you're obviously and demonstrably wrong, but you clearly don't listen to much non-industry rap and i'm working on something and don't wanna give you a dozen youtube links of other rappers to sift through, so i'll concede it in the abstract). but as for being innovative, you can tell that from someone's first song. now, three years after thug became who he is, he's STILL developing new ways too attack beats, on an increasingly wide palate of production. he's plainly, obviously, beat-you-over-the-head innovative.

all this knowing full well we haven't heard anything he's recorded in 2015.

i agree with that but this only every comes to fruition when we're discussing two artists both parties are equally familiar with.

this obviously isnt the case with em vs thug, and never will be.

im sure we can have the swell convos you're looking for if we compared like Kanye and Jay or something.

and ive asked people multiple times if they've heard x thug album or song, and its always a "no" followed by "why do i need to, thugs gay and suxxx"

so i think im handling this the right way, thanks for the feedback tho bb
