    thug is more interesring rapper, better style eminem has and superior discography. eminems whole career covers about 20 songs i can listen to tbh, thugger got way more good material out and he is just starting

    I'll try and go a bit more in depth with my decision.

    Thug's style is incredibly unique... and for me that's not always the best. Kanye's "Yeezus" was unique as f--- and very different, but it just didn't click with me. Same goes with a majority of the Thug songs I've listened to (thanks to @Narsh 's kit and the numerous YouTube suggestions). I can respect his craft and the music he creates, because there's no denying he's talented at what he does. But that talent isn't necessarily something I'm very interested in. The whole "trap music" fad or whatever you wanna call it is something I'm not particularly a fan of, so that also contributes to it. Though I won't lie... there are a handful of songs that I've added to my library (like Flaws and Guarantee), but those few songs don't encourage me to go out of my way to listen to a full Thugger project. Again, I'm not disrespecting what he does or calling him a trash rapper like so many here make the mistake of doing, I'm just saying his music doesn't resonate with me.

    People who call Em trash or say people who like Em have "bad taste" should also realize that they are in no position to dictate whether someone has good or bad taste. Cool, you don't like Eminem. Good for you. I'm happy for you. Live your life and be happy. Don't try and bash other people just because they have a different taste in music than you.

    I hope I'm making some sort of sense here. If you like Thug, cool. If you like Eminem, cool.
