I think this is fkn merch and they're intentionally doing this - like, obviously an album is coming and the pre-save is for that, but, I think this is a bait and switch. I think obviously it'll have something to do with this concept, but, called something entirely different or look and feel or something. This feels now like a bait n switch.

I remember one major artist using a pre-save simply to promote his playlist of the best songs on Spotify (not the official album).

As in they want people to think this is the title and idea or something, then they would want everyone to run with it. I've been a Em fan my whole life and can sense a lot of what they doing or thinking, my gut is starting to tingle that way now.... So I think it is an album coming, summer, too, but they want people to think this is it then maybe closer to it'll be like 'ALBUM X NAME - OUT NOW' or something so it's extra surprising. But, maybe similar theme, I dunno.

Something similar will probably happen this time. at the end of August, The Death of Slim Shady merch and in September the official announcement of the album. they've been promoting this Slim Shady merch all year with high budget trailers, just like they promoted Stan merch all 2017. some fans even thought then that Eminem was going to release The Stan LP.
