They're two albums sold together as one, with Side B being a cute lil homage to vinyl & tape era, but actually made as a sequel; separate and new album all together, confirmed by Em himself. Just bc they packaged it with Side A to sell more of Side A / count both as 1 album and make the sales look better... it's a marketing trick they've also done with Taylor Swift etc. recently @ Interscope / UMG. Doesn't mean it's not a sep album.

Artists have to turn the project in so that it can be mixed/mastered and so that things such as artwork/production credits/legal jargon can all be written out . Even if the artist is of a high status like em, the team Around him will set a deadline date and a cut off point so that they can do their jobs of making it then accessible to the masses and doing everything else that needs to be done to prep for release. This s--- was mixed already and handed in months ago. You don’t get to a point on a major label with an artist line em where you’ve released a first single and shot a video, only to carry on working on album in the background it just wouldn’t happen, do you know how much that would delay the actual drop date if artists worked that way? Sample clearance issues/ someone can’t make a feature because schedules don’t match etc etc. The albums done bro. Relax.
