Jun 2, 2024 I changed my vote from an 8 to a 9. I’ve been listening to it all weekend. This is probably the most I’ve played an Eminem track since Recovery. So much about it is positive. It’s a big nostalgia play with the Without Me influence, but other simple things like him rapping to the beat, going a bit slower and being melodic with it, the fact that it’s a fun catchy ‘pop’ single, the fact that he’s doing the hook himself (ie, no Skylar, Sia, Beyoncé), working with Jeff Bass again, so much… I wonder if this project is being managed by someone else? Someone at the label or something is actually putting some structure to album and the rollout. It’s being well advertised and promoted. They’ve gone back to the working formula. I have high hopes for the rest of the album and haven’t been this excited for a new Em album since Revovery.

Jun 2, 2024 I paid to go watch the live stream of the Pablo premier at my local cinema. It was just me and 2 random Indian kids in the whole theatre. Had a fat blunt before I went in. The experience I felt listening to Ultralight Beam and FSMH for the first time through those big a--- speakers was otherworldly.

And Em was in disadvantage cuz Revival is a long a--- album. I think it's easier to get better numbers if you keep it down to 10, like 444.
