May 29, 2024 Here’s my theory This was going to be “The Slim Shady LP 2” but after the expectations were too high when he came out with MMLP2 he decided to chose a different name so it’s not directly compared to his classic album. Imagine MMLP2 was titled “The Legacy of Marshall Mathers” or something a long those lines. from the new clip him making his career disappear I believe this makes it more believable that he will say the most vile, outlandish things and look to be cancelled and cause an uproar like when he first came out. He will be cancelled which will make him disappear. this also makes it easier for him not to have to stick to a full concept of “who killed slim shady” type content. He can legit rap about Epstein, Diddy, transgenders, putting an umbrella up a girls vagina, being with 2 brain dead lesbian vegetables and it will fit with the theme.
May 29, 2024 I don’t think it’s specific to Em - although he obviously has fewer hits in the latter half of his career - it’s just that with streaming nowadays & playlists etc. (which weren’t around for the original Curtain Call), pretty much renders greatest hits albums pretty pointless

May 29, 2024 yeah, mixing the best from Relapse, Recovery, Kami. MMLP2 and MTBMB + Side B and a Revival track you can make something way better. The tracklist was mad disappointing.
