But if we were to say that a friendship with a gay person & publicly performing & denouncing the homophobia, also putting plenty of songs out where he is telling the listener I AM JOKING like on Bad Influence, Get You Mad, If I Get Locked Up, Stimulate & Criminal (which was the point of contention at the start of this discussion), were not enough to prove he wasn’t, then why would you hanging out with your bosses be enough? That was my point.

May 18, 2024 Criminal is what he basing his argument on, even though in the song he says he has no problem with gay men, he saying it to get a reaction and just f---ing with the people who believe his every word and don’t get it. Nothing to do with everyone was homophobic 25 years ago, so Eminem must have meant what he said. Ridiculous. If his lyrics and humour wasn’t obvious enough, he did many interviews like the one I shared before, saying the same thing. What he said in those interviews , he would say the same in 2024.

May 18, 2024 Discussions are fine, it's a forum after all, h--- even insults and name calling are expected but I've never seen a forum with such long standing rivalries, grudges and s---. Usually 2 or more users get in a fight, argue for a while and then everything goes back to normal the following day, here we got arguments that last months, it's boring af lol I know I can just ignore the s--- ofc, it ain't that serious at the end of the day, but having to go through 6 pages of bs just to see anything music related is f----- up ngl

May 18, 2024 "Homophobia" needn't imply hatred of gay people. More often than not (especially these days) it's attributed to people who are "phobic" of h---------- acts, behavior, and mannerisms, but who don't harbor any hatred or ill will towards gay people just for being gay. Is Eminem homophobic? I don't think that's really debatable. He obviously is/was, and examples of his homophobia are legion.
May 18, 2024 Man I would love if everyone just discussed music on here, I've offered ideas about users picking an album each week (non eminem albums obviously) and discussing them to keep things Interesting. Would also be f---ing hilarious to do a zoom call or some s--- where everyone was in it The arguing even though I get involved I'm so f---ing bored of, it's like a repetitive cycle.
