Just cause those lazy fkers packaged the song with the wrong name doesn't mean thas its fkn name. N I'm p sure Dr Dre has also called it "Hi My Name Is" many times. This is important. May 16, 2024 I mean I honestly don’t care too much because the music is the most important thing, and it’s obviously an album of material…but they literally never marketed it as a studio album iirc? You could only stream it as one double album, the sales were never separate, and the discography section on his website just refers to it as MTBMB. Elsewhere it’s just referred to as a deluxe Weird marketing decision tbh, definitely went under the radar of a lot of casual fans

It's just he made it in two parts, I don't think he intended that, he just saw reception to side a and still had ideas and so made a sequel, and put em together as a double; and the whole side a / side b thing just a homage to the vinyl and tape eras he loves so much. But yeah point is it's an album worth of material, and he made it like another album, structured it with intro, skits, put it together. Just like he said he thought about Black Magic to justify the scream at the start of Premonition. He sat n put together a sequel. Just because of how they put it together or then market it doesn't change the fact it's a whole album lol. It's just people who act like it's a few bonus tracks or random leftovers he shoved on a deluxe, like.. no, it's not that though is it.

From what I remember, because the sales were combined he couldn’t get a number one album, and his first week sales were under 100k. They really messed that one up.
