May 8, 2024 Something better than MTBMB, and I adore MTBMB (literally doing a relisten as we speak, I’m on No Regrets). nice feature list, great production, no “relationship” songs if he wants to keep the theme of The Death of Slim Shady. End of the day I just want an album that can be looked at in a positive light. We’ve waited 4 years, I just want something great. I don’t really put expectations so I can go into the album happy and not hoping for anything. If I did have expectations though, it would be features. I want to see Em work with some new people or people he hasn’t worked with often and challenge himself. Throw Cole in there, Kenny, Billie, Travis, Denzel, JID. People who are at the top of their game right now no matter the genre. While I don’t mind the collaborators like Ed and Skylar, I just want something new. Royce is always welcome too.
May 8, 2024 I really like that verse, but it felt monotonous towards the end, maybe because of its length as well though. Wouldn't mind a song or two like that, but he needs to be wary of that laid back flow. For example the first part of Gnat is so boring, that's him taking it too far. I know he can't replicate his old voice and the passion that came with it (Say Goodbye to Hollywood), but I'll be more than happy with s--- like Premonition and Walkthrough - that's the perfect balance imo.

May 8, 2024 50 is all but confirmed for the album. What type of record yall want to hear them spit over? A Grimey 90’s street track, a Sequel to Patiently Waiting, or a concept song where they go back and forth similar to a Bad Meets evil Welcome to h--- type song. It’s been a while since I heard a fire 50 verse.

May 8, 2024 I just don’t find it that much of a detachment from MTBMB at all, & at this point I’ve had enough of it. Plus it’s been 4 years. If he’s going for a concept & a potential final chapter run then I hope there’s more reinvention than that. Even if the reinvention is just chilling out & flowing normally again without the cheap jokes & references.
