If she went into hiding and no one talked about her for a year and then she did a surprise release, this album would have sold less than 1.5 million. 2.6 million sales due to her HUGE HYPE for almost a year.

Eminem sold 1.7 million copies in 2000, 1.2 million in 2002 and 1.5 million in 2004 because he was a pop. He was the rap version of Taylor in the 2000's. As for streaming numbers, the quality of many songs on Eminem's albums, starting with MMLP2, is not good enough, so his latest albums collectively do not gain such large numbers as other pop artists do. If this was 2000 or 2002, then Eminem would be the most streamed artist of the year, because then the quality of each song on his albums was much higher than now. fans don't wanna listen to a song over and over again that isn't of good enough quality, same with music videos on YouTube.

Eminem has done the exact same thing recently, attending events and promoting them. That mean Eminem going to sell 1 mil plus and is considered promo? She sells that many because of her popularity, name and genre of music. Eminem is a legacy artist that is in the twilight of his career and is well away from the spotlight. People need to accept that.
