Apr 15, 2024 Production is important. But KILLSHOT beat is suitable because it leaves the center stage for Eminem and his lyrics. As long as Eminem is not rapping on Alex Da Kid production, it's fine for a rap diss track.
Apr 15, 2024 I'm setting myself up for dissapointment like a f---ing idiot, I'm expecting some new era life changing s--- and it's probably gonna be another mtbmb (quality wise, not the same style or theme), which is fine but y'know, I always expect him to do better
Apr 15, 2024 Finneas would be the best producer he's worked with in years, just let that man make another Don't Smile At Me EP type beat and it would be gas.
Apr 15, 2024 Tbh improving on his flows, production and bringing in different rappers as features are enough. I don't expect Eminem to make some ground-breaking album.
Apr 15, 2024 Who cares about fkn sylables when the insult is more valid. Him framing Em as a narcissistic never-happy douche, who has it all but still acts like he's downtrodden is better than any diss Em said in the whole KIillshot. He basically just said 'you're s stan' (yet you don't know which of my albums are which / thus contradicting that insult), 'I've sold more albums than you' and 'I'm richer than you' about 100 times. But yes the Not Alike diss was a lot better. The R Kelly line was great, the phrasing / fact he round that vs. his name was p brilliant. And the whole energy of it. Thas the thing, I think he shot his load in not alike n didn't have anything else to say.
Apr 15, 2024 Yes, I'm not getting that lmao. Em fans are so corny sometimes. Of course I f---ing get that he responded to everything MGK said almost like a f---ing list, I GET IT, it's not complicated bro, 'reading material, dictionary! heh', who gives a f---. The rebuttals were s---.
Apr 15, 2024 To anyone who thinks Billie Eilish wouldn't work as a feature let's not act like she wasn't on the hardest song on an already great rap album: It's Em's decisions on who he works with and his own creativity that stifles his potential with more mainstream acts.
Apr 15, 2024 Meh, sounds like an Em clone trying to remake his pop rap songs This is a good pop collab that worked
Apr 15, 2024 Most likely, but Americans love trash, so it will go number 1 for sure. Last one blocked Weeknd.
Apr 15, 2024 Bars or not, I think both Killshot and Not Alike were pretty enjoyable songs as well tbh
Apr 15, 2024 It’s relevant when there’s no originality in the content & he can’t get the basics of rap down lol But he called him the GOAT? So he clearly thinks Em is the greatest & he’s always in that mode, it doesn’t really make sense does it. Calling him angry all the time when he’s the most successful rapper of all time by doing that is highly contradictory. It’s the type of dumb s--- you see on Twitter. I agree I prefer Not Alike, but what would you want him to say/do as a response to Rap Devil instead of Killshot? A rerun of Not Alike? Not Alike 2? Or just ignore it? Again, no one said it’s complicated, just like no one said it’s genius, it just seemed like with how you’re strawmanning that you missed the connection. I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree.
Apr 15, 2024 I think Em’s team would be silly to attempt to promote in the middle of the current beef.
