Apr 5, 2024 Mr Morale being bad is debatable, I could see where they coming from, but saying Tpab is trash is straight up lying and idk why everyone on Twitter is trashing that album right now, like it's not even boring, the first 3 songs are funky asf, acting like nobody actually liked the album all along, I've seen plenty of people celebrating that everyone is trashing it, idk, crazy day

Apr 5, 2024 The first 3 tracks will get you heavily into the album, the next 3 songs are a little slower paced but definitely worth a listen, it's not that much of a political commentary but an introspective work that also regards politics from time to time

Apr 5, 2024 I love TPAB, one of most creative, cohesive albums I’ve ever heard 10/10 with that said I can understand how someone doesn’t like it. One of my best friends who is a hip hop head and is all about lyrics hates that album. Song for song I can see it not being amazing but as a full body of work it’s amazing. The critique of it being boring and overhyped is an opinion that is shared by a lot of people. It’s a divisive album. Same concept happens with Em, he’s considered a legend in hip hop (as TPAB is legendary to many) but there is always a LARGE group of hip hop heads that think Em is overrated, and only rhymes words with no content. Cole playing that narrative isn’t a terrible move since he will find a lot of people that agree.
