Think of how memorable his beats/melodies were compared to lately, even though the raps n songs have been pretty good from Kamikaze & 'Murder... can you honestly even REMEMBER one beat? Like, not like 'cleanin out my closet' and it's not just nostalgia, it's because it's a discernible, distinctive melody, right away. Which matched his flow, that's why... as Dre said with 'Forgot about Dre', they built the beat around his flow... and look again at what a classic beat that was too. Actually one of the only recent beats which immediately springs to mind is 'Tone Deaf', surprise surprise... produced by Em.
