Mar 31, 2024 You didn't ask me but if anything I'd say you take the idea of mental health as defined by modern psychiatry a little too seriously, as most people do, which is probably bad for their mental health in the true sense of the term, since according to so-called professionals there's no cure for "mental illness" - a self-fulfilling belief if there ever was one. The only cure for that particular mental illness is to realize it's complete bs. Might sound like a cope but it's true.

Mar 31, 2024 Yeah, I see what you’re saying to a certain degree. Companies make a killing off of mental illness these days, so many people are on antidepressants even though they say there’s no cure. I stopped taking Zoloft years ago because they basically turned me into a zombie and took away all my emotions and empathy, which is something I’m still working on fixing to this day (thankfully I’ve been making good progress). I try to not frame it as “depression” or “mental illness” in my mind anymore but instead frame it as “mental health”. I think that alone helps to a certain degree.
