Mar 22, 2024 Kendrick and Drake have been going back and forth for years and that verse was clearly mainly targeted at Drake. Most of the lines reference Drake and his album “For All The Dogs” where I’m pretty sure he took shots at Kendrick. Cole only got caught in the crossfire because he’s buddy buddy with Drake and keeps bringing up with the “big 3” in multiple verses now. I don’t see how Kendrick is bitter for responding to Drake and talking about the big 3 like Cole constantly does. The only real diss to Cole is Kendrick basically saying he’s better than him which Cole already admitted himself.
