Feb 22, 2024 Which turned out for the best. I mean he created a never before heard flow with the way I am. And the real slim shady is a classic as well
Feb 22, 2024 We turned this into a general chat thread awhile ago because it’s the only thread that actually everyone goes to. This site been dying
Feb 22, 2024 it's miserable getting on here now (and yes I know I could stop but when it's good, it's really good, so I keep coming back haha)
Feb 22, 2024 The word I used was 'incorrect' not 'no' so I am correct in what I'm saying...... album soon
Feb 22, 2024 I am right, today is the first day I said soon and I won't say it again because it's very soon, I'm not allowed to say when exactly but as soon as I get the go ahead I will post the date here
Feb 22, 2024 Ok but u Said not Feb. And u said incorrect to March 15th. Better be March. Or that's not soon
Feb 22, 2024 I'll bet u money album don't drop real soon. Just give me the time-frame of the bet if ur so confident
Feb 22, 2024 Yeah and I've said this before but I legit think, knowing now especially how insecure he is, and the fact he was coming back, unsure of himself and his new sound - I think he put 'Beautiful' on there mainly as a stylistic safety net. Because he knew that song would go over well with fans, as it's in the same vein as his older stuff, straight forward ballad rap-rock, woes me introspective Em, it's a classic Em song.. Then you had this bizarre new style he'd come up with. Which I fkn loved then and love now, but point is, I think he was too scared to just let it fully stand on his own feet. As he always is. It's where the balance thing comes from too, 'what if I don't please this type of fan', who gives a s---! So I think he put 'beautiful' there, in case people didn't like the Relapse style, but liked that, then he'd go more in that direction. Which, is exactly what happened. Recovery is basically an attempt at 'Beautiful' as an album. It's rap-rock, pop, ballady, introspective, serious Em, it's not stylistically the same, there's new elements to Recovery too ofc, due to new producers and some new delivery, but it's very much in the vein of 'Beautiful'. So not only did he p---- out of R2 but he smeared a little s--- stain on R1 for me too. Couldn't just have the balls to make what he wanted to make 100% and not care if it's loved or initially gotten or not.
Feb 22, 2024 Nobody's forcing you to listen to official Relapse at gun point. It shouldn't bother you unless you care about Eminem's legacy. Well I'm afraid that's stained beyond repair.
