I'd say he 'd had a better chance than the rest to blow up but even the reason Obie blew was basically the production and Em's high involvement in the first album. He even put Obie on Without Me song & video in the beginning etc. at that time, any regular rapper might have blown up under the wings of Em and Shady. THey could have still done it for Cashis, Stat Quo etc. but since Em completely faded away from the scene it was impossible. And after his comeback, it even took Em more than a year to find the popular sound for himself. After 2010, they tried the make SH and Yela have a similar sounding poppy raps but the sound just worked for Em, it was one time thing. And nowadays Em doesn't really have power to make anybody huge unless it's someone who really meant to blow up. Back in 00-06 Shady & Em could have made any rapper blow up in a way.
Feb 2, 2024 I’m a little late listening to the feature — definitely the funniest and most carefree I’ve heard Eminem on a track since the early 2000s. Vibe reminds me of Canibitch, although it somehow manages to take itself even less seriously. For what this is, it’s absolutely perfect. No notes.
