Jan 6, 2024 When I was a kid listening to encore. I didn’t like it sonically and for over a decade I thought it was Em’s least replayable album until revival happen. Revival production and beats were just plain bad and uninspiring. I know some bedroom producers that can make better beats in like 20 minutes. Rick Rubin and all that rock sampling needs to stay away from Slim’s next album.
Jan 6, 2024 this is even better, a nice and different female hook with more soul. This hook gives me Cocaine vibes, a hook like this I can dig. And I'm somebody that dislike most of his female hooks.

Jan 6, 2024 same… but some songs hit me sooo hard, the candor and honesty about fame on that last verse of evil deeds and the way he fumbles the “back th… the baton, th… the camera’s on” line but left it in there, the emotion and history on yellow brick road, the way he rides the beat so effortlessly on like toy soldiers, the relatability of mockingbird, all the levels of metaphor on crazy in love, that encore beatttt. and i mean the bonus tracks and sftl tracks are some of his most serious, somber and introspective songs he’s ever done, especially we as americans and bully

In Evil Deeds there's no real emotion in his voice and he doesn't even sound like he's trying. Yeah, s-----y delivery is so raw amirite. Seems this is your catch-all for any song you like lmao. Laughable. We As Americans is a poor man's Don't Approach Me.

Jan 6, 2024 I used to listen to Conway the most but now I listen to Gunn the most Benny is my least listened to but I still like him, tho his newer output is definitely lacking imo in comparison to his earlier s--- Gunn needs to stay away from trap beats though - he literally uses the same one flow on all of them on Pray For Me and it's awful
