Dec 27, 2023 Yeah I’m not sure about the current version of the song being one of the greatest, but I figure there’s another version recorded with this original instrumental. Given that it’s the 06 version, the one we got has that line in the first verse implying it was recorded in 07 I’m just super curious if there’s an 06 vocal take with this original concept in mind. With the extended audio of the news recordings it seems like there was more proof / D12 concept attached to it.

He says there are many different versions of this song and it was reworked right up until it was released in 2009. He says the intro has no vocals at all and from what I hear in the beat this version starts with the chorus then goes into the first verse.
Dec 28, 2023 Well, it's not that you have to enjoy the line. I mean, when you think a line is a bad that's fine, nothing wrong with that. I just think it's crazy to dismiss a whole song over it.
Dec 28, 2023 I'm not dismissing the whole song. I just posted an edit of it without the line. Terrible lyrics like that can hurt a song's replay value over time (though obviously opinions differ on what makes a line terrible). There's nothing really crazy about that.

Your Youtube channel is s--- like No Medic on DeJa Vu, Amplified Instrumental, shorter Hooks, less hook repetition, 1 line taken out ….. If you’re like that with music and with how you are on this forum, then I can’t even imagine what you’re like with everyday life. Go get certified, it will change your life.

Dec 28, 2023 The no medic version is for standalone Deja Vu because I'd rather hear the instrumental, though admittedly it doesn't sound right on the album which is why I removed it. Yes, some instrumental outros such as SFTM are fantastic and fade out too quickly. Some people skip to the next song after the last verse or hook. I tend to listen all the way through especially if I like the beat. Yes, this can be useful at times. For years I didn't listen to Cleanin' Out My Closet for example because the hook was such a chore for me to get through. Shortening it restored a lot of its replay value. You seem to be under the impression these are time consuming edit jobs. They're not. Sorry, I don't go in for toilet humor and booger flinging like you and your buddy Chaotic Progress.
