Dec 21, 2023 Bro, Revival was literally the worst album rollout of his career. Promo didn't make sense whatsoever, they acted like the album was coming and then it wasn't, terrible first single choice(great song though), and botched the release date. Killed whatever buzz he built. It's like his team forgot what they were doing. Recovery was probably his best rollout. Awesome features that built buzz( forever, drop the world, air planes 2), despicable freestyle, huge single with Not Afraid, multiple radio/video/magazine interviews, and performances before dropping the album.
Dec 21, 2023 I see his verse on Lace It is getting widely praised. It's no coincidence that when he stops the fast rappity rap bs, hones in on the content and keeps the silly puns to a minimum, it's much better received by the masses. Hopefully he takes notice for his next album.
