Dec 16, 2023 Idk how it is for your country but for schooling in America a 7/10 is considered a passing grade, that carried over into how people perceive rating media where anything below a 7/10 is deemed below average which isn't true.

I see why a lot of people are more adverse to things being called average and try to avoid stuff with that rating like a plague, cause something being mediocre can usually be connected to it being forgettable which is way worse than being memorably good or bad

Dec 16, 2023 Yeah Em is in a weird spot where he would probably be outrapped by all of his underground contemporaries (unless he really pushes his pen) but also doesn't sound super comfortable on mainstream artists tracks, makes sense why he usually sounds the best with someone like Royce. Although Juice and Don Toliver worked really well for me on Side A so it's not impossible at all!
