Sep 22, 2021 Rap God and RoR are the only tracks on the album that captures anything from the OG and is a extension of that era. I reckon he definitely had a lot of tracks with a lot of that attitude, wit and that feeling it’s evolution of Mathers LP but scraped it, so he can make a well rounded album in his mind, which ironically ruins that album. The Monster and Survival being singles and having videos also ruins the vibe and feeling of the MMLP. That annoying , poppy hook from the monster is one of the main visuals you have from that album and same with Survival which was just a Recovery track. The album tracks were all random from one song to the next, just all over the place. Shame because there is so much potential from that era to have really captured the first album and be its own thing .
