Sep 20, 2021 MMLP2 is where some of the mainstream Eminem distaste stems from imo. Easily his worst album if Revival didn't exist. Has it's moments tho; glad people are mentioning Wicked Ways, always f----- with that one.
Sep 20, 2021 Oh yes he certainly was. For me anyway. Wicked Ways was dope btw. But man, there were some terrible songs. Like Love Game. Who could have imagined an Em/Kendrick collab sounding that bad. Overall it's not a bad album. But it doesn't hold a candle to MMLP and should never have been called a sequel to it.

Sep 20, 2021 Since we're talking about MMLP2 now, I'll say that most of the album is good but it would definetly benefit from a few changes imo. Some of the changes that come to mind are: -Remove So Much Better, Survival, a------ and Rap God. -Add in Don't Front, Baby and Beautiful Pain.
Sep 20, 2021 I’ll forever defend MMLP2. Too bloated - sure. But I enjoy most of it & still think it’s wayyyy over hated. Some of the best writing of his career but was let down by some poor beat choices & track-listing. I definitely have a soft-spot for it because it’s the most hyped I’ve ever been for an Em album - I rly enjoyed the promo especially when Rap God came out. That whole era reminds me of a good time in my life so I will always appreciate it more than others.
Sep 20, 2021 I think after Revival I think Recovery is his worst album. That entire album was copy paste hooks with fake screaming lil Wayne knock off punchlines for verses. That whole album is super lazy and no real effort put in. Even Revival has better highs than Recovery.
