Oct 21, 2023 It's one of my favorite movies of all time, and the main reason for this is, of course, Jim Carrey. You can tell he studied the source material (Mask & Mask Returns) closely because he captures the essence of the character so well. He literally brings it to life, even if in a more looney tuney form. This is "Big Head", straight from the comic book. Never ceases to amaze me. And although I think The Mask should have been a horror, I can't reasonably complain too much, obviously because it was so well done and Jim Carrey did such an amazing job, but also because comic books were rarely adapted into films back then, never mind some obscure comic like The Mask: https://www.theringer.com/movies/2019/7/22/20698088/the-mask-jim-carrey-comic-book-origins So it's almost a miracle it got made at all. Nowadays nobody remembers them. That’s why I really hope there’s another Nas collab on Em’s album, it’s not hard to top the one they released. You will like anything he does unless it’s a pop feature lol you are ready to overrate before they even drop
