Oct 20, 2023 All of the Slaughterhouse members are boring as f---. Budden is probably the most interesting but that isn't saying much. The rest are a chore to listen to, no amount of multi syllabic rhyming makes me want to play a f---ing Crooked I or Royce track. By associating with them over the past 12 years Eminem's music has suffered too. He isn't as charismatic as he used to be on the mic, albeit there's still old flashes of it here and there. Think about how many skips there were on his first three albums - not many. Encore had silly s--- on there but even then most of it was somewhat interesting sonically. Since 2011 he has so many songs that lack replay value to the point where you're reluctant to go back and listen. A lot of them aren't even "bad songs" per se, but his rapping style has become so tedious. I blame that on his obsession with "bars" and "schemes". He treats rap like a "sport" and therefore has forgotten how to make good music. It's all about how many syllables or puns he can cram into a few bars now. It's rapping for the sake of rapping and it's no surprise that since he started affiliating with the likes of Slaughterhouse his music has gone downhill.

Oct 20, 2023 Couple songs are cool, I like them coz they used to spaz and spit crazy s--- and had such high energy and passion in slaughterhouse, but now its just like listening to 2 retired old bum chums lol And they've all sounded like Joell albums with Crook features

Oct 20, 2023 Royce has always been boring SOLO. I've personally only liked him on features and teamed up with others before Bad Meets Evil. Both PHRYMES are classics though. Premier brought the best out of him. Never heard him sound as good as he has on the PHRYME albums. Most up to Bad Meets Evil is passable. Trust The Shooter (2016) and after is where he really started sounding better.
