Oct 6, 2023 Rap is dead for sure because of s-----y a--- artists and greedy record labels. No original sounds anymore. Everyone sounds the same
Oct 6, 2023 That new album is so f---ing bad, i dislike drake but usually i can tolerate a few songs but not one made my playlist
Oct 6, 2023 I think when it comes to music as a whole we've already explored most of what is possible to explore. Probably already said this before. I honestly don't know if it's possible to come up with a musical masterpiece like for example Stairway to Heaven in this day and age without using elements that have already been done before. It's definitely much harder to comeup with something original. But to get to your post, I agree that Hiphop has reached it's peak. But I don't know if any genre will surpass it any time soon outside of Pop/R&B. I think Pop might be the only genre that's been consistently popular throughout the years despite the ups and down. Other genres like classical, jazz, metal etc.. seem to be too niche to appeal to such a large audience. As for Rock, it will always be relevant but idk if it will be #1 again. Unless they start making it appealing for young people and gearing the marketing towards them.
Oct 6, 2023 And good rappers always dying Hope Future will deliver at least. This is gonna be remembered as the year Travis dropped Utopia sad s---.
Oct 6, 2023 Guess you never checked So Far Gone (EP), Nothing Was The Same, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, What A Time To Be Alive and More Life dude left enough good music can't forget about all the features he killed
Oct 6, 2023 I think it's a generic project carried by production. I must be one of the few who really likes K-Pop though
Oct 6, 2023 Haven't listened to the album yet but J. Cole went off. The beat switch for the second Drake verse in the last minute or so really kills the pacing of the song tho
