Oct 5, 2023 She looks like young thug, in 2023 am i not allowed to think shes gross looking? Or is that too offensive?
Oct 6, 2023 Way more sensible take than straight up saying rap is dead. Rap was on top for a long time, it can only grow so much
Oct 6, 2023 It doesn’t matter what rappers do. Rap hit its popularity peak and it’s likely only going down from here. No genre stays on top forever. There is no more growth to be had
Oct 6, 2023 Rap will still be popular, but another genre will take its place as the most popular genre
Oct 6, 2023 I have no idea what it'd be replaced with though, Rock is dead in the mainstream, decent country is making a comeback but it's a wildly different demographic, pop is still relevant but only a few people so maybe more of them?
Oct 6, 2023 Not sure what genre tbh. I think right now the music industry as a whole is in a transitional period. COVID and TikTok have really changed things up. Lots of big artists not dropping while not having many popular up and comers to replace them. I saw an article not too long ago about labels being in shambles and wishing they had more artists like Olivia Rodrigo and Ice Spice. It’s looking bleak right now, but the music industry will adapt. I think we’re in a unique time right now where creativity can actually prevail instead of the most generic dogshit getting popular. The genre that takes over rap’s popularity could be a combination of country and pop, it could also be Latin music. Latin music seems like it’s been getting huge in America lately
Oct 6, 2023 Man get these whack cocksuckers off stage, where the f--- is Kanye when you need him? Where album?
