Jul 19, 2023 It’s useful for the label because they’re racking up more sales in the long term. It’s useless for us consumers because we could’ve already made that playlist ourselves. At least we got some new songs I guess.

Jul 19, 2023 CC was a comeback to music? What are you on about? "When I'm Gone" was basically an "I'm taking a break" song at the time, and then he had a long hiatus afterward. It was released as his career was up in the air, which he stated in interviews back then. How do you come to the conclusion that CC was his comeback? CC2 was definitely a cash grab by the label, but it's more likely that Eminem was and is taking a break, as shown in the last year since he hasn't released anything since then.
Jul 19, 2023 The “relevant” conversation is stupid to me anyway. Most people who say he’s irrelevant never give enough specification. If you were to say he’s not relevant to YOU anymore, fine. h---, you could even say he’s not relevant to the pop sphere anymore since he doesn’t really release successful pop hits anymore aside from Godzilla. But to say he’s irrelevant to the world or even irrelevant to hip hop just doesn’t make sense at all.

Yes eminems sales arent what they once were, but are they low? No not even close, i find it exhausting looking at posts on here sometimes. No artists ever stay on top of the industry for forever, sales or music wise. Em is nearing the end and his numbers are actually very impressive for the length of his career. Not quite sure what the f--- "comeback music" is lol Side B only did low sales cause they did an a--- job of promoting, eminem fans i work with had no clue it even existed a few weeks after it dropped.
Jul 19, 2023 Yeah I don't care about sales unless it's genuinely impressive/confusing or if I'm happy that someone I enjoy is getting attention to their art, it never effects my enjoyment of the art itself though.
