Jul 16, 2023 I don't feel like I listened to enough of the shady artists to make an accurate ranking but he's probably on the lower side, still very talented but something missing from his music.
Jul 16, 2023 agreed, I should be patient and listen to more of him..I did like that Em feature lol but ya something is missing…I feel the same way about boogie..I don’t care enough about them….I was way more invested in Griselda on shady even though little Em influence…and yelawolf, slaughterhouse… Obie still my favorite shady artist
Jul 16, 2023 I think Grip has made some pretty interesting concept albums but for the newer signees I'd rather listen to boogie's music more, could just be that I haven't been too much on rappity rap stuff as of late. Both Grip and Boogie aren't marketed anywhere near enough which is prob a product of Em being a hermit, say what you will on how he managed people like Yela and Slaughterhouse and affected their music but it felt like he was always doing something with them.
Jul 16, 2023 100% you’re right…I think he was way more involved…doing those bet cyphers was huge for shady 2.0 and shade45 freestyles… hasn’t promoted much of grip or boogie except for wearing his face on a t shirt in a concert in Detroit d12, Obie and 50 got prime Eminem marketing

Jul 16, 2023 There’s also a male protagonist who is the boyfriend of the female protagonist. The info that they’re toning down their jokes is highly exaggerated as leaked gameplay already showed very similar humor to GTA 5. People got way too mad about this info when it came out, I don’t get it
Jul 16, 2023 I think Obie was definitely his best, Obie’s first album alone is classic to me. Grip can definitely rap and all but idk that style he does is not really popular at the moment so he’ll never be mainstream no matter what Em does to push him
