Jul 11, 2023 No question Em is still huge. Everybody still knows him and some of his popular songs are all over some playlists too. But he barely promotes when he releases new stuff and he barely pushes sonically pleasing, something that would stuck in people's heads as singles. His last few singles were not really the ones that would have chance to go huge. If he can choose his single well and actually promote it, he can do great numbers. He' won't do worse than MTBMB Side B anyway...

The only people who care about it, are people that obsessed with sales and his popularity, like it’s the year 2000. Em clearly knows Fall, Godzilla and Darkness are not going to be number 1 hits is he? But they all set the tone for the albums perfectly and are all some of his best songs in his catalogue which is how it should be. All 3 songs are perfect lead singles for their respective albums.

One because Em’s cancellation was going viral and the other one with a fake beef to promote a sports channel. The album has way better songs they could have released but they chose promotion. It was a bit too late though That’s why we never got videos for songs like Zeus or Book Of Rhymes, for example
