Jul 6, 2023 Why is it ridiculous?He dropped albums in 2011,2012,2015,2017 and a soundtrack in 2018. Man needed a break from the spotlight probably and had some personal s--- going on.Not everybody wants the attention all the time by putting out a trash album every 6-12months.Its been 5 years when Drake dropped a good album.Everything after Scorpion is just boring and a let me quick take the bag album.
Jul 6, 2023 I understand Kendrick needed time to mentally heal and go through his therapeutic journey for Mr. Morale to work. It doesn’t make waiting half a decade for an album any less ridiculous. He was gonna drop in 2020 or 2021 but wanted to wait for tours to come back, which just goes to show he still didn’t have to take 5 years to put out the album. I loved the album, but he could’ve dropped it in 3 or 4 years. You can diss Drake all you want but clearly the amount of time taken on albums doesn’t always indicate the quality of it. Eminem took 4 years to put out Revival.
