Apr 13, 2023 I wouldn’t know. I haven’t listened to all of his albums or mixtapes yet, but I’ve been meaning to.
Apr 13, 2023 I’d say Eminem is definitely one of the best rappers of all time as well, but the latter half of his discography weighs him down a lot to where it lowers him on a lot of people’s lists or even erases him from the list entirely. However, when it comes to technicality, rhyming, and storytelling, there’s not a lot of rappers that can compete with him.
Apr 13, 2023 *Listening to revival for the first time from the same artist who made Till I Collapse, The Way I Am, Superman, Not Afraid and it being dog s---*
Apr 13, 2023 If youre including mixtapes you best dedicate a week or two lol dude flooded the market so bad when he was popping. I was so sick of him
Apr 13, 2023 Yeah lol that’s one of the reasons I haven’t bothered listening to every single one of his projects yet
Apr 13, 2023 I feel like if he just stuck to albums id be a way bigger fan of him, my one friend growing up was so obsessed with him and it was like a mixtape every two weeks lol
Apr 13, 2023 Aw man I had a dream Em was featured on a song. It sounded like some proper country sangin s---. Thought it was Ai at first, posted it here like 10 times, got 3 likes and woke up
Apr 13, 2023 Just realized next Thursday marks 15 years of sobriety for Em if he didn't secretly relapse at some point. Could be a significant date to drop something
Apr 13, 2023 Eminem's album won't release until after his limited XM channel ends at the end of the month.
Apr 13, 2023 Never got this . I think a artist should be judged by their best work not the bad s--- they made . Everyone falls off in any genre . Biggie is in top 10 conversations and had two albums . Clearly he died . But who’s to say his next album he would of fell off ? And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a artist fall off harder than Eminem and bounce back .has he put out trash? Absolutely. Put his 100 best songs and verses up and he’s going to body ANYONE
Apr 13, 2023 Some people judge “best rappers” differently. If I had only heard Eminem’s first three albums, I’d think he’s top 5, but since I’ve heard his whole discography I think he’s lower on that list. I think Lil Wayne is one of the best, but I haven’t heard his whole discography. There’s a good chance I could listen to the rest of his music and not think he’s the best anymore. I think having consistently good albums should be a thing that people consider. Like, for me, Kendrick Lamar and Denzel Curry have consistently good albums. Eminem doesn’t, Lil Wayne probably doesn’t. It’s not the only thing people should use to judge who the best rapper is, but I think it can be important. I’d rather listen to a rapper I KNOW is gonna give me something good rather than listen to a rapper who’s a mixed bag like Eminem and Lil Wayne are these days.
Apr 13, 2023 I’ll say this . During 8 mile and devils night , Eminem was the ONLY rapper I’ve ever heard that I would say perfected rapping .he had it all, the flow , bars, topics , punchlines how he pronounced his words. To me. I think Eminem at one point was the only rapper to actually perfect rapping . I can see why people would place Wayne over em, I can see that . And I’ll note that I think Kendrick Lamar had the best album run in rap .
Apr 13, 2023 I see where you’re coming from. I wouldn’t necessarily say perfect but he definitely tapped into something special during that time. He was untouchable for sure 100% agree
