Feb 1, 2023 He bought the publishing company that held Eminem’s catalogue at that point. He don’t own his music anymore
Feb 1, 2023 Oh okay . I also read somewhere that mj only owned like 2 songs and the original reports were false
Feb 1, 2023 Kendrick Lamar is the best rapper of all time. Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers cemented that for me.
Feb 1, 2023 Why do you think so? Not shi--ing on you but genuinely wondering if you just found it boring or something deeper.
Feb 1, 2023 I loved it, it’s one of my favorite albums ever. There’s not many albums that make me feel the way this one did. Kendrick goes through a powerful spiritual and mental transformation. It’s something I really needed to hear. It made me more open to the idea of going back to therapy. The unorthodox sound of some of the songs was a breath of fresh air. It’s a very polarizing album and it was designed to be that way. I understand people think the subject matter is boring and the beats and voices sound weird but I love the subject matter and wish therapy, particularly in the context of black families, was talked about more. The weirdness of some of the beats, flows, and voices is something I adore. I’ll never forget my first listen of that album
Feb 1, 2023 There’s like 2-3 songs I enjoy . I feel like Kendrick at times try’s to be too creative and it just doesn’t work . I don’t always need a deep message . I just need to hit play and feel good listening to the song
