He's also 41 years old, which is about the oldest he's ever been when he's put out a new album. He released his first full-length album, The Slim Shady LP, when he was 24. Then he didn't release another full-length album until 2009. That was Recovery. He also released a mix tape and an EP in the interim, but he didn't have another full-length album out until 2012, when Recovery 2.0 was released. In the intervening years, Eminem released Emagine in 2014, an album of remixes. Then 2015 brought Revival, a studio album featuring guests including Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Ariana Grande. Eminem has been retired ever since, but he's now decided to release a single and album, also called Revival, and then tour, beginning in April. If you've never heard of Slim Shady, Eminem's real name is Marshall Mathers.
