If he going into albums of what ever, I just want to rap and have fun then his albums will feel shoehorned in for sake of it and and the quality will show that. If he wants to just rap, then just do projects outside of solo albums. Will just ruin his overall discography if he has that mentality of making an album. If he has no inspiration or desire to make a great album, then don’t. The whole “ He has made great albums in the past and I’m just glad he still raps today” doesn’t wash with me. Basically accepting mediocrity and that he can make what ever.
Oct 9, 2022 He needs to get in the studio with just dre and Mr porter. Only those 2, it seems he has too many people pulling him in different directions. He needs to stay off f---ing youtube, or whatever media he's looking at and not give a f--- what people want, he needs to make what he wants. I feel like the reason he will never make a classic album again is because he's so beaten up reading the criticism he doesn't know what to do. Every eminem fan seems to like different versions of him. So he has to either decide, do I keep trying to please everyone? Or please myself? I think if he choose himself you'd get the best eminem album we've had in years.

Oct 9, 2022 I’m sure he would rather make great albums and be the best rapper but from the way him and Rosenberg were talking so defensively about Revival on the Paulcast, I’m assuming he said that to protect his ego. I still think he has another classic or 2 in him. MTBMB could have been if you combined the best songs from side A and B and cut the filler. The amount of time he’s taken since that album considering we know he’s always making music fills me with hope. I guess we’ll find out on a Friday in the near future.
